Khat Sokhim got engaged to a young actor

Khat Sokhim, singer and comedienne, had engagement with a young actor, In Panha, whose nickname is Phano, on February 23, 2011 at her house nearby Borei Chey Chomnas, Steung Meanchey district, in Phnom Penh. Her fiancé is younger than her. Khat Sokhim has a five-year son without getting married to a man who she always has tried to hide his name. Even though, they know that he is a TV program manager.

Her engagement party is as big as wedding party because she invited more guests to join her engagement.

Her fiancé, Phano, told local magazine that he has relationship with Khat Sokhim more than 5 months and then reached engagement. He also said that he likes Sokhim and her son. Phano used to star CTN’s drama “Strange Lover” that broadcasted on CTN and then was banned by Ministry of Information.

After getting engaged, both has no plan to marry yet because they need to build more and more souvenirs and have more understanding each other. They are going to travel tourism sites around 24 provinces by riding motorcycle in order to establish souvenirs and close relationship.

Cambodian comedian was robbed of his jewelries

When I drove at the sense and I heard that a Cambodian famous comedian, Neay KOY, was robbed of his valuable jewelries, including gold necklace, bracelet and diamond ring by unknown robbers, which are worth around $40,000 on the daytime on Jan 13 while he was waiting to have his car repaired at car garage in Phnom Penh.

one of onlookers told me that one of robbers pointed a handgun at him and told him to take out of all his jewelries. Luckily, he was not injured and no one dared to help him at that time. All robbers went away without being arrested.

Neay Koy filed a complaint with competent authority in order to hunt for all robbers, though he did not recognized robbers.

A couple of comedian got divorced

Cambodian court issued a verdict several months after a couple of comedian had lived in different house for 7-8 months and filed a divorce complaint with the court. Ren Sotheary, known Khmeb, and Oeurn Sokha, aka Hongda, members of Neay Koy’s comedy troop, had lived with each other for 10 years after they got married in 2000 with two sons, Thary Sokhen, 9, and Thary Sokhem, 2.

At the present, Khmeb left her troop for a few months but her former husband has still performed with his team. After getting verdict, Neay Hongda gave CRV-car and two plots of land to her ex-wife but he has full rights to feed his sons who are living with him.
