Nancy Dow, Mother of Jennifer Aniston, Suffers Stroke

Jennifer Aniston's mother, Nancy Dow, has suffered a serious stroke.

The actress, 42, visited her ailing mother, 75, at an L.A.-area hospital on Friday. At her side for the ordeal was live-in boyfriend, Justin Theroux.

"Justin has been very supportive and there with her all the way," a source tells Us, adding that clearly, "It's a very hard time for her right now."

Aniston's rep said only that "this is a private family matter."
Fans of the star may recall that she and Dow were estranged for a decade after Dow spoke out about their relationship in a 1996 interview and wrote about Aniston in a book, From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir.

Lindsay Lohan: My sis is gorgeous, haters

Photos of 17-year-old Aliana Lohan, little sister to Lindsay Lohan, popped up on the Web about a week ago but the saga surrounding them is still going strong.

Ali's mom, dad, sister and representative have all come to her defense after the Interwebs started to question that it was plastic surgery that caused the apparent change in her facial features. Yesterday, Ali's rep explained to CNN that "Aliana has never had any type of plastic surgery in her life, nor has she ever considered it."

The rep went on to say that it was a growth spurt, not surgery, that caused the difference in Ali's features, and Lindsay has once again taken to her Twitter account to stick up for her little sis.

"I love how haters pick on my sister yet every runway model is just as thin," she wrote last week. "My sister is gorgeous and I'm so proud of her and her career!!!" She also RT a comment from celebrity blogger Sandra Rose, who opined, "Ali Lohan, @lindsaylohan's little sister doesn't care what you think. She'll eat when she gets damn good and ready."

Jennifer Aniston has always been up for cocktail or two.

"She had only fruit juice, while the guys were sipping wine and beer," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. You know what that means: Jen's pregnant with twins!

Beverage choice aside, how does this venerable tabloid know Jen is having kids?

"Jen was seeing ob-gyn Dr. Robert Katz in Beverly Hills regularly this spring to see how fertile she is," an insider said. "She had a million questions about getting pregnant after 40 and just what is involved with in vitro fertilization."

Apparently it's working, because "Jennifer was looking radiant, tanned and healthy! She and Justin sat holding hands! Justin had his arm around Jen's waist."

Congratulations to the happy couple on their fake babies.

Marc Anthony: Why my marriage to J.Lo ended

Dirt diggers are advised to look elsewhere. Marc Anthony says that he and Jennifer Lopez split for the simple reason their marriage didn't work anymore.

"I'll tell you that it wasn't something sensationalistic happening," Anthony, 42, tells ABC News.

Asked about reports their seven-year marriage ended because of infidelity, Anthony says "absolutely not."

"It was a realization on both our parts. So you know it wasn't shocking. These things happen," he says. "It was a decision that we made jointly."

Anthony says that he'll continue to work on his reality show "Q'Viva! The Chosen" co-starring his now estranged wife.

"This is not a funeral. This is not a burial," Anthony says. "This is just two people who came together and just realized -- and so I'm saying that it wasn't sustainable the way it was, and that's that."

Jennifer Aniston brings Justin Theroux 'Inside the Actors Studio'

Now, Jennifer Aniston is mixing business with pleasure by bringing new beau Justin Theroux to her interview with James Lipton for "Inside the Actors Studio."

Theroux, 39, "was sitting in the front row, and she made eye contact with him," second-year Actors Studio MFA student Christina Schudel told PEOPLE at Thursday's New York taping with Aniston, 42. The interview will air next month on Bravo.

"Whenever there would be a lull, she would just look at him and give him a wink and go back to what she was doing," Schudel says.

Aniston was also clearly a hit with the crowd -- which roared with laughter after Lipton asked what drew the actress to the 2006 movie "The Break-Up."

Aniston replied, "Well, you know it's something I have a lot of experience with."

"She was just so relaxed and so open," Schudel observed. "So lovable from beginning to end. Such a sweetheart."

Lipton, who chatted with the "Horrible Bosses" star for nearly three hours, says he was completely captivated by Aniston's warm personality.

"She's as quick and witty and charming as she is on screen," Lipton told PEOPLE immediately after the interview.

Post-breakup Paris Hilton reconnects with old friend

A newly single Paris Hilton was feeling the love at a shindig for Charlotte Ronson on Tuesday, as the heiress was all hugs and smiles with former BFF/supposed frenemy Nicole Richie.

According to TMZ, the two were seen exchanging hugs and hanging out at the Hollywood event. Hilton tweeted later, “@NicoleRichie, Bill, great seeing you tonight at #Iheartronson. You looked so beautiful! Love you. Love Sill :) xoxo”

The 30-year-old heiress, who is currently starring in the Oxygen reality show “The World According to Paris,” recently broke up with her boyfriend of one year, Cy Waits, and says that she’s now taking a closer look at her life.
"Cy is a good guy," she tells E!. "We've been friends for years and always will be. I just need some time alone to focus on myself. We speak all the time. I have nothing but great things to say about him."

A source adds that the reality TV star does feel bad “for ending the relationship, but she felt that she needs time to reevaluate her life."

'Mad Men' creator: January wanted a baby 'badly'

When January Jones announced in April that she was expecting her first child, there was at least one person who wasn’t that surprised: “Mad Men” executive producer Matt Weiner.

The showrunner, who Jones has said created the part of Betty Draper especially for her, told E! that the 33-year-old actress has always wanted to be a mom.

"She has wanted this very badly," Weiner said. "She's got a big heart and she's been talking about having children since I met her, which is not always common with actresses.”

Weiner has every confidence that the soon-to-be parent is “going to be amazing” at raising a little one. "She is going to be someone is going to be so devoted."

Her co-star Jon Hamm agrees, as he told CNN when the news arrived in the spring that he thinks Jones will be just fine.

“She got a lot of practice playing a terrible mother on the show so I think she's probably learned what not to do,” he joked.

Pink welcomes baby girl Willow Sage Hart

Talk about tickled Pink! The singer announced on Twitter that she and husband Carey Hart became the proud parents of a baby girl on Thursday, reports People.

"We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart," Pink tweeted of her bundle of joy, who was born in Los Angeles. "She's gorgeous, just like her daddy. #beyondblessed."

Speculation that the stork was about to pay a visit began on Wednesday night, when the rocker tweeted, "New Moon in Gemini today...a good time to start something new."

Pink confirmed her pregnancy to talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres in November, revealing that her doctor believed she was expecting a daughter.

"I'm terrified, because she thinks it's a girl," Pink said. "My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I'm terrified! One of us will go to jail."

Chelsea Handler to Jennifer Aniston: Stay away from Kardashians

Chelsea Handler has never been shy about cutting celebrities down a few notches, but the comedian insists she reserves her tongue-lashings for those who truly deserve it.

"I only have talked about people that I think are acting irresponsibly or are making fools of themselves," she tells the Hollywood Reporter. "There's no reason to talk about Reese Witherspoon. I've never talked about those people and anyone I've become friends with. I'm not going to be friends with them if they're idiots in the first place."

This might explain why Handler recently warned her good friend Jennifer Aniston not to associate with fellow E! network stars the Kardashians.

"Jennifer said she saw the Kardashians at dinner last night. She was like, 'They're nice,'" recalls Handler. "And I said: 'Don't get photographed with the Kardashians!' People will blame me for it!"

Gisele Bundchen to become first supermodel billionaire?

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is all beauty and plenty of brains—according to Forbes, the Brazilian bombshell is poised to become a billionaire.

Besides raking in money by appearing in high-profile campaigns for the likes of Versace and Dior, Bündchen is also earning quite a few extra bucks by branding herself. So far, the catwalker has licensed her name to a number of products, including a jewelry and eco-friendly cosmetics line, and a line of sandals for Grendene. More recently, Mrs. Tom Brady also launched her own lingerie company.

According to Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, such endeavors could add as much as $19 million per year to Bündchen's already estimated $45 million annual income.

And it doesn't stop there. Bündchen also earns additional money as the creative director for fashion retailer C&A's Gisele Bündchen Collection and intends to sell a stake in her Sejaa Pure Skincare company, which she founded last year.

If all goes according to plan, Forbes reports, she could sashay her way to becoming the first billionaire supermodel and Brazil's first female self-made billionaire.

Jane Lynch to host Emmy Awards

After appearing as part of the ensemble in last year's Emmys opening number, Jane Lynch is finally taking the lead. The "Glee" star will officially host the 63rd annual ceremony on September 18, Fox confirms to CNN.

“I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys on Fox,” Lynch says. “I’m looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit.”

Mark Burnett, the show's executive producer, adds that Lynch—who nabbed an outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series Emmy at the 2010 event—will make the ultimate emcee.

“Jane was my first – and only – choice as the host for this year’s Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said ‘yes,’” he says. “She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host.”

Nominees for the 63rd annual Emmy Awards will be announced on July 14.

Angelina Jolie: Our education system needs improvement

She may be a superstar, but just like any mother, Angelina Jolie is concerned about the state of schools today.

"I wish there was a book every parent could read that tells you how to navigate through the school system, and how to tailor the education system for your children and their interests," the mom of six tells the Independent. "I'm personally getting a lot more involved with their different tutors and teachers."

Jolie's children are enrolled in the Lycée programme French schooling system in several different countries, including New York, Prague and Venice.

"But we have different teachers from different cultures in our house, who travel with us. Not only nannies but teachers," she says. "To us it's about building a team around us where we can all be enhanced culturally and they can help with following a curriculum legally."

The "Kung Fu Panda 2" star adds that she believes there's a lot to be learned outside the classroom.

"I do think we live in a different age and the education system hasn't caught up with our children and our way of life," she says. "But we travel and I'm the first person to say, 'Get the schoolwork done as quickly as possible because let's go out and explore.' I'd rather them go to a museum and learn to play guitar and read and pick a book they love.

"I feel that there's got to be a new way to tailor things more directly to our children," she explains. "Considering the amount of information we have today, the internet and online books... We as parents need to think about how we can shake it up and make it better."
